Heather's Lemonade (for Gilda {g})

*My adaptions in (...)

Ingredients
5 lemons - juice 4 1/2 & slice 1/2 (I just juiced all 5)
1 plastic bottle of seltzer 44 oz (mine was 33 oz)
1/2 c or more light agave nectar (I used honey)
1 T fresh mint (I didn't have mint)

Directions: Take the sliced lemon and mint and sort of squish them around in the container, then add lemon juice and agave nectar; stir well. Add seltzer. Test for sweetness and adjust as needed. (I simply mixed honey with juice, then added the seltzer...I think this would be great with mint and o.k. with water as well- though it's fancier with seltzer.)

Thanks, Heather, for sharing this recipe. I want your pool granola recipe too, please. I make mine with almond but I'm hearing it was great with maple syrup.
Several have asked. We took this to the pool today and it was a hit with everyone. In other words it isn't simply that my kids are sugar deprived that accounts for them liking this. {BG}

Note: this makes a lot...but it is nearly gone already. {smirk}

Note 2: over the past 10 months we've discovered we like it better if we bake it at 350* - crunchier....just watch it so it doesn't burn.
I have the BEST husband in the world. Late last night (as the second movie played) I was putting away clutter in the kitchen, storing carmel pop corn so that the ants wouldn't attack. I opened the fridge and out fell the glass jar of maple syrup. What a MESS. Mike told me to go to bed and he would clean it up. He totally cleaned it up. He even mopped the whole floor - it's not been this clean in months. I'm thinking we need to eat out this weekend so it can stay clean...but wait....breakfast is already in motion.
Happy BIRTHDAY KRISTA!!!

We'll try to reach you via phone a bit latter.
